# Pricing (/docs/platform/pricing)

Two meters, and nothing to sign before you've seen a result.

## Operations [#operations]

A one-off unit of work — a Grade, a sim batch, a data slice. The exact amount is on
every [402 Offer](/docs/activation/offers-and-payment); a machine-readable price sheet
lives at `/.well-known/`. Settle per-Operation by wallet (MPP / x402) — an agent does
not need a billing customer to buy its next sim.

| Operation | Price | Per |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Deterministic Episode over a paid dataset (outside the free catalog) | $1.50 | operation |
| Certified grade receipt (pinned data + fill-model, replayable) | $2.00 | operation |
| Licensed data slice beyond the free catalog | $5.00 | operation |
| Random simulation episode (seeded surprise test, reproducible from its seed) | $3.00 | operation |
| Managed paper-execution session | $10.00 | day |
| Live broker activation (human signer required — PLAT-ADR-0003) | Human-signed | activation |

Prices in USDC, sourced from the machine price sheet at `/.well-known/kestrel-markets` (v2026-07-14). Human-signed scope (broker/live) carries no machine price — a person must sign the Envelope.

## Standing resources [#standing-resources]

Time-metered against a funded balance — paper pod-hours, live singleton-hours,
GB-months of retention. Budget is a field on an [Envelope](/docs/concepts/authority).
Stripe Billing may back recurring standing resources or data subscriptions after
activation.

## Settlement [#settlement]

```
Settle by agent wallet (MPP / x402) · or a human claim-and-fund
BYO-plan + BYO-broker for live, always
```
